The wines of Stoicho Stoev, who has dedicated his life to the wines of Struma valley, are liked and preferred by the maestro of Bulgarian rock music. In deference to the personality and the work of the great guitar player Medi Valley Winery made this special edition of eXcentric Incanto û Special Edition by Ivan Lechev. The wine was produced in 2016 bottles. The blend of two classic red varieties was made so that the differ-ence creates the style.
Vinification: The Cuvee eXcentric Incanto wine was made of selected grapes from specially selected vineyards. The Cabernet Sauvignon is from the wineryãs own vineyards in the village of Smochevo and the Syrah comes from a single Thracian vineyard. The grapes of the different varieties were picked and vinificated separately. They were selected on the vineyard itself. In the cellar they were sorted on a double sorting table. The wines made of the different varieties matured 12 months in French oak barrels where they reached completeness and harmony. The stressing cold stabilization was avoided. After tasting, a total of seven barrels was selected to make the blend.
Tasting notes: The color is beautiful, dark red. The aromatic profile is multilayered with ripe fruit, smoke, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Completed by nuances of white pepper and blue-berry leaves. The body is soft, fruity and juicy and the flavor is full and velvet.
