Region, climate, soils and grape variety
100 hectares are located in key Bulgarian micro regions for the white grapes - Khan Krum, Novi Pazar and Veliki Preslav. This is an area perfectly suited to the growing of white grapes. The terrain is complete with rolling slopes and hillsides at an altitude of 150 - 280 m. Brown forest soil, clay, limestone and carbonate soil are predominantly found in the region. This soil has a slightly grainy, well drained structure, especially when at a higher altitude, and is well aerated and warm with a pH of 6 - 6,5. These vineyards grow grapes of some of the finest varieties like Traminer. Produced by grape variety Traminer pink, transferred from Alsace, France and cultivated in the area of Khan Krum. Grapes are derived from controlled vineyards whose terroir provides a unique opportunity for varietal expression.
Tasting notes
A very attractive wine with expressive aromas of rose, typical of the variety, complemented by flowers and aromatic spices. Thick and plump, refreshing fruity taste and long lasting aftertaste supported by natural sweetness.
