Voortreffelijk en buitengewoon verassend anders Spaans! Prachtige, intense kersenrode kleur. Zeer expressieve, mediterrane neus met aroma's van bramen, aardbeien en een kusje van het hout. Goed gestructureerd met sappige tannine. Let vooral op de edele zuren die de wijn een schitterende fraîcheur geven. Afkomstig van wijnstokken met een minimale leeftijd van maar liefst 70 jaar!!

Coromina is produced from a selection of our oldest vines, which trace the story of a long winemaking tradition and a unique region, the Empordà. It is the story of majestic vines, standing strong in the face of the Tramontane north wind, extracting the essence of the soil and expressing it in this wine.
Varietal: Grenache and Carignan.
Tasting
A very original cherry hue with bright red tints. It reveals intense aromas of fruit compote such as cherry and blackberry, along with liquorices, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, it shows smooth, perfectly-structured tannin followed by a coffee finish.
Gastronomy
This wine is an invitation to try new, exciting food pairings with our great variety of Mediterranean dishes. Best served at: 15-17 C.
Vineyard
Coromina?s Grenache and Carignan vineyards grow in gravel and slate soil in an area of flat land near the village of Garriguella. Old vines of over 70 years of age.
Production
A meticulous selection of grapes from our oldest Carignan and Grenache vines. Carefully harvested by hand at the optimal moment of phenolic ripeness. Fermentation and maceration for 30 days at a temperature not exceeding 24║,C. The wine spends 12 month in French oak barrels before bottle ageing.
